Our farm is a three-generation working farm located in the pristine valley between the Nescopeck and Horseshoe Mountains. The farm was purchased from the late Mr. William Hart in 1930 by Dale W. and Helen V. Moyer for $1800.00. Most of the land on the 180 acre farm had to be cleared in the late 1700's, early 1800's, to create what is the existing farm this present day.

Dale and Helen started the farm raising hogs and vegetables, and then in 1952, with the help of their son, Atwood and wife Florence, started a dairy business. For the next 39 years, they operated a successful dairy farm, retiring in 1991.

After the dairy business, Atwood and Florence along with their son Gary, and wife Cathy, purchased "BQ", the first Haflinger horse, in the year 2000. They were interested in the Haflinger horse because of their loving, docile, willing temperment. It wasn't too long before they were in love with this breed, and decided to raise, breed and train Haflinger horses!

Our Haflinger horses help with various farm chores, as they are trained to pull most farm equipment, as well as trail ride for recreational pleasure.
